PLN Nusantara Renewables (NR) is the leading subsidiary of the PLN Group and PLN Nusantara Power in developing a new and renewable energy (NRE)-based electricity ecosystem. Formed as an unrestricted subsidiary, PLN NR offers a high flexibility in developing independent power producers (IPP).
As of June 2024, PLN Nusantara Renewables has 3,210 MW of power plants, of which 2,145 MW are operational, 895 MW are under construction, and 170 MW are in the development phase.
PLN NR has established eight companies, consisting of three subsidiaries and five affiliated companies. The three subsidiaries owned by PLN NR with a 51% ownership are PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Solar Energi (PMSE) for the Cirata Floating Solar Power Plant, PT Nusantara Sembcorp Solar Energi (NSSE) for the IKN 50 MW Solar Power Plant, and PT Nusantara Tembesi Baru Energi (NTBE) for the Tembesi Floating Solar Power Plant.
